  • Kenya – a reflection on Ruth Mumbi’s efforts to defend the rights of evicted families in the Kairobangi neighborhood of Nairobi as the COVID-19 pandemic spreads.
  • Pakistan – the story of the disappearance of human rights defender Idris Khattak, as told from the perspective of his daughter.
  • Brazil – the account of Rosa Luz a social media influencer and rap/hip hop musician who received death threats for using her art to hold political leaders accountable.
