Celebrate GLOW by Contributing to EveryPolitician!

Are you interested in an opportunity to contribute to EveryPolitician – the “world’s richest open dataset website on politicians?” Apply to host a Wikidata workshop during the Global Legislative Openness Week (GLOW) from November 20-30, 2017! Participants in the GLOW-affiliated Wikidata workshops will collect information in “consistent and structured formats” about politicians in their country, which will then become available for public use on the EveryPolitician website. Those interested in hosting a Wikidata workshop may qualify to receive in-person assistance from GLOW supporters in addition to some financial support. Launched in 2013 by the National Democratic Institute (NDI), the Congress of Chile, and members of the international parliamentary community, GLOW recognizes and supports open government projects, such as EveryPolitician, to celebrate “open, participatory legislative processes.” Click here to learn more about the opportunity.
