A recently updated report released by the Due Process of Law Foundation (DPLF) entitled the “Manual to Defend the Rights of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples” provides indigenous people—as well as the organizations who fight on their behalf—tools and legal information that can aid in the defense of their rights. Available in both Spanish and Portuguese, the manual targets communities that have been negatively impacted by activities such as the extraction of natural resources and the expansion of infrastructure into tribal territories.
