ISHR Accepting Applications for Human Rights Defenders Advocacy Program 2017

The International Service for Human Rights (ISHR), an NGO, that promotes human rights, is now accepting applications for a training program designed to equip experienced human rights defenders with vital professional skills. The program will convene in Geneva from May 29 – June 7, 2017 at the 35th Session of the UN Human Rights Council and will teach participants how to navigate international human rights mechanisms and lobby UN member states and staff. It also provides activists from different regional backgrounds the opportunity to exchange peer-to-peer knowledge and to build their global networks.
