Last week, Rosa Maria Paya, Luis Almagro OAS Secretary General, and other Latin American activists signed onto the “Observatory on Transparency and Anti-Corruption” initiative at the OAS headquarters. Paya is the President of the Latin American Youth Network for Democracy (JuventudLAC), which has been working alongside regional partners to develop the initiative. With the support of Latin American civil society, the youth-led initiative aims to implement a “regional empowerment tool” to help tackle corruption. View pictures from the meeting here.
