EG Justice was launched in 2008 in the United States (rather than in Equatorial Guinea, as human rights organizations are not permitted to operate within the country) to promote human rights, the rule of law, transparency, and civic participation to build a just Equatorial Guinea. EG Justice is governed by a Board of Directors, advised by Equatoguinean and international experts, and managed by an Executive Team. We collaborate with international organizations to bring critical human rights issues to the attention of global policymakers, promoting human rights, transparency, rule of law, and civic participation in Equatorial Guinea.
Filimbi is a pro-democracy and civil society movement that advocates against poor governance and human rights abuses, and which demands respect for the constitution of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Filimbi promotes the exercise of the rights to freedom of expression, freedom of association and assembly as well as freedom of thought, working specifically with youth.
Legal and human Rights Center (LHRC) is the largest NGO in Tanzania dealing with democracy and the rule of law. Its main purpose is to strive to empower the public, promote, reinforce and safeguard human rights and good governance in Tanzania.
Forum for the Strengthening of Civil Society (FORSC) – At its creation in June 2002, the main concerns were to help Burundi civil society coordinate their actions for the sake of public interest; to conduct a diagnosis of the social, economic, political and security context in Burundi in order to arrive at the same vision and identify common actions to be carried out. The African Democracy Forum (ADF) is a regional network launched in Abuja, Nigeria in October 2000. It comprises civil society organisations, media institutions, community based organisations, academic institutions and donor entities that work on democracy, democratic research, protection of human rights, upholding the rule of law and promoting good governance through the twin principles of transparency and accountability in the African continent.

Incorporated in 2013 under the laws of Uganda, Chapter Four Uganda is a robust and coordinated mechanism for legal response to abuse of civil liberties. The organization provides bold and innovative legal response through representation, litigation and counsel to the most vulnerable and discriminated sections of society.
NewSETA’s mission is to facilitate the creation of new social and economic opportunities that improve quality of life of disadvantaged children and enhance capacity of youths. NewSETA also promotes democratic values, peaceful coexistence, and improved human rights environment. Of recent, NewSETA is involved in the VOTE18 CAMPAIGN which aims at reducing the voting age in Cameroon from 20 to 18 and she is also a co-founder organization of the AMD.

The Constitution and Reform Education Consortium (CRECO) is a network of civil society organizations that belong to the broad human rights, governance and democracy category of NGOs. CRECO was founded in 1998, as a culmination of a networking history dating as far back as 1992 with the exponential increase in NGOs involved in governance. ARTICLE 19 works for a world where all people everywhere can freely express themselves and actively engage in public life without fear of discrimination. ARTICLE 19 does this by working on two interlocking freedoms which set the foundation for all its work. First, the freedom to speak concerns everyone’s right to express and disseminate opinions, ideas and information through any means, as well as to disagree with, and question power-holders. Second, the freedom to know concerns the right to demand and receive information by power-holders for transparency, good governance and sustainable development. When either of these freedoms comes under threat, either by the failure of power-holders to adequately protect them, ARTICLE 19 speaks with one voice, through courts of law, through global and regional organisations, and through civil society wherever we are present.

Liberia Law Society is a professional body committed to promote peace, justice and respect for the rule of law and new and innovative approaches to the myriad of national challenges. Founded in 2005 the Law Society intends to increase access to justice, facilitate strategic thinking and critical analysis of issues and seeks to offer workable alternative policy options. It seeks to promote non-violence, to address impunity, to promote social justice, respect for human rights and human development. The Law Society embraces a comprehensive approach which focuses on legal representation for indigents, victims of rape, human trafficking, child labor, labor rights, land rights, public interest law with a particular focus on corruption, concessions reform, and land issues among others.
