Jatzel Román is the General Coordinator for the Latin American Youth Network for Democracy (Red JuventudLAC), which promotes democracy and human rights throughout the region. He is also a member of the Center for Analysis of Public Policy (CAPP), a pro-democracy think tank based in Santo Domingo. Román has represented CAPP as an election observer in countries throughout the Americas, including the US and Honduras.
