Mikayel Zolyan discusses how he came to join politics after the political transition in Armenia. He highlights skills he developed in civil society that strengthen his abilities in government. He reflects on managing priorities and making compromises in government.
Mikayel is a Member of Parliament in Armenia, elected in 2018 to the National Assembly. He was a political analyst, researcher and journalist prior to joining government. He served as Senior Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of NAS.
