In May, Red de Apoyo, a group of 60 women leaders from Venezuela, brought together Venezuelan women and international allies to create a plan of collective action for gender equality. Their collective action proposal aims to expand women’s representation in key spaces of power and decision-making in the democratization process. The plan proposes working towards equal representation of women in positions of leadership in political parties, and the coordination of women’s movements within Venezuela and the diaspora community, among other actions.
